Police Arrests Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters’ Publisher


The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Sahara Reporters’ publisher, Omoyele Sowore, over alleged money laundry publication in which a London base Journalist and Checkout International Magazine’s publisher, Lekan Fatodu, was indicted of assisting Nigerian politicians in moving money out of the country.
www.metronaija.com gathered that Sowore was arrested at his house in Lagos and moved to area F at Ikeja on Wednesday after Fatodu, who was said to had lodged complain to police, received tip about the Sahara reporters’ boss appearance in the state and reported to nearby police station for his immediate arrest.
