Yahya Jammeh Becomes Lone Soldier', Fires Other Cabinet Members


Embattled Gambian leader, Yahya Jammeh has become a lone man as he fired the remaining cabinet members in his team.
Jammeh, who was hit by mass resignation on the eve of his 22 years ruled sacked 3 remaining cabinet members.
The Senegalese troops have moved into The Gambia and waiting on order to oust the rebel leader.
President Adama Barrow has urged the army and police force in the tiny West Africa nation t co-operate with the new government.

Tinsel actor, Gideon Okeke, drew some flak during the week when he took to his social media page to say that veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu should be sanctioned for his use of vulgar words in movies. The spokesperson of the Senate Unity Forum (SUF), a forum that canvassed for Lawan’s Presidency, Senator Kabiru Marafa (APC, Zamfara) advised the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu to decamp to the APC. Marafa who said the emergence of Lawan has ended the storm in the Senate said the only seat remaining for the APC to clinch is the Deputy Senate President position. “I am using this medium to call on Ekweremadu to simply decamp. Section 68(G) of the 1999 Constitution captures this. Thank God the rift between Makarfi and Sheriff’s faction has made this possible.
