Gambian Soldiers Accused Of Looting Govt Properties After Jammeh's Exile.



The exit of former Gambian president Yahya Jammeh, who fled to Guinea Saturday night, January 21, has caused quite an unrest in the country despite the inauguration of a new leader, Adama Barrow. Coalition forces of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) who have been on stand by in Senegal moved into Gambia with a view to securing strategic positions.
Meanwhile reports have it that guards at statehouse are looting furniture, computers and cars belonging to the state government.
